I’m Janna, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, founder of Radiant Nutrition, and someone who truly understands the struggle of trying to “get it right” when it comes to health and nutrition. My journey into this field wasn’t just about science—it was personal. After years of battling my own weight and disordered eating, I realized that real health isn’t about perfection; it’s about finding what works for you and making it a way of life.
With over 20 years of experience, I’ve built this practice on the belief that nutrition should be realistic, sustainable, and empowering. I specialize in weight loss management, adult and family nutrition, and corporate wellness, combining evidence-based strategies with a compassionate, no-judgment approach. I hold advanced certifications in Adult and Pediatric Weight Management through the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and have been honored as a Best of Denton County winner for the past two years, as well as a DFW Mom-Approved provider—something that means a lot to me as a mom myself.
I also had the privilege of representing Radiant Nutrition as part of an expert panel on The Great Weight Debate hosted by @MeritStreetMedia. I joined other health professionals in a powerful discussion about weight loss, the role of medications like GLP-1 injectors (Ozempic), and the importance of balancing risks and benefits. Having these conversations matters—because nutrition, weight, and health are never one-size-fits-all.
Beyond my work with clients, I love being involved in my community. I serve on the Board of Directors for the Argyle Farmers Market, act as Event Chair for the Dallas Dietetic Alliance, and connect with incredible female entrepreneurs through the Boss Babe Society and Aspire Networking Group. This past year, my work and story have been featured in VoyageDallas and Northlake City Lifestyle magazines, but what truly drives me is seeing the impact nutrition has on real people’s lives.
At Radiant Nutrition, I not only have the privilege of working with clients—I also lead and mentor an incredible team of dietitians who share my vision for providing compassionate, evidence-based care. I believe that empowering others is the key to creating lasting change, and that starts with my team. I’m passionate about fostering a culture where our dietitians feel supported, inspired, and equipped to help our clients thrive. Together, we’re building something bigger than just nutrition counseling—we’re creating a movement that helps people break free from dieting, understand their bodies, and live with confidence.
Radiant Nutrition isn’t just a business to me—it’s a passion. It’s a place where people can come to feel heard, understood, and supported in their health journey. Whether you’re an athlete dialing in performance, a busy parent trying to feed your family well, or someone looking to finally break free from the diet cycle, my team and I are here to help.
You deserve to feel strong, energized, and confident in your body. Let’s create a plan that works for you—so you never have to start over again.

Hi, I’m Annie! My journey into nutrition started when I was just 12 years old, when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. That experience shaped the way I view food—not just as fuel, but as something that can nourish, heal, and bring people together. With the help of a family friend (who happened to be a chef!), we learned how to make meals that were both delicious and supportive of my mom’s health during treatment. Seeing firsthand the power of nutrition, I knew I had found my calling.
That passion led me to The University of Texas at Austin, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, and later to Texas Woman’s University, where I completed my Master’s degree in Nutrition. Since then, I’ve worked in both acute care hospitals and private nutrition counseling, helping people find balance, joy, and confidence in their health journeys.
At Radiant Nutrition, I work with clients via telehealth to create sustainable, science-backed nutrition plans that fit their unique lifestyles. Whether you’re looking to fine-tune your eating habits, gain energy, or simply feel your best, I’m here to help you ditch the all-or-nothing mindset and embrace a real-life approach to wellness. Because let’s be honest—healthy eating should never feel like a chore!

Meeting with Sophia was a terrific experience! I have never seen a dietician previously and wasn't sure what to expect, but Sophia listened to me tell my story and helped come up with a plan that works for ME and MY needs. She was so informative and made me feel so comfortable. She figured out ways to include foods I already eat and enjoy. The plan she came up with in no way seems not at all difficult to follow or unattainable. I would highly recommend this place and specifically Sophia to all my friends and family!!
